Lori has a great love for creating her gingerbread houses and has been recognized many times for her achievements. The two most recent have provided regional recognition for her work.
She received 1st Place in the gingerbread competition at the 2006 130th Annual Deerfield (NH) Fair. Her work was entitled "Baby Jesus in the Manger".

One of her most recent honor was at the 2006 20th Annual Christmas Craft Festival Gingerbread Competition at the World Trade Center Boston in which she took the "Most Creative" award among a field of some of the finest restaurant and hotel chefs in New England as well as several area culinary schools. Her depiction of "Whoville" of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" fame took the show by storm!
Yet another of her creations was a gingerbread house depicting "Dollar Bill's Discount World" in Derry, NH. It was nearly three feet square and had amazing detail. The work of art was on display at the retail store for several days!
